Rear end noise 4230

Rear end makes a clank noise when changing direction forward to reverse etc. Also happens when shifting to high or low range except when pulling a load. More so when warm. No noise otherwise when driving. Quad range open station no wheel weights. I didn't notice this noise before I had a dealer install a rops.
Thanks

It probably made the noise before the ROPS install....they mount directly to the axle housings steel on steel and tend to really reverberate any noises from the drive train. Only other thing could be loose wheel clamps

Or differential about to go out...you can peek into the bung hole at the upper right rear of the trans case and see a bit..maybe enough to identify the noise..

If it only happens when you reverse direction, check if the rims are sliding in the rim clamps.
