1950 JD AR rear axle seal

I need to replace the rear axle seals on my 1950 JD AR. Assuming both bull gears are going to be pretty heavy, I'd like to know if there's any tips before pulling the axles that may save me some grief when I reinstall them into the bull gears?

Thank you, I thought I replied last week but it doesn't look like it posted. You're right they weren't too bad getting off. But I noticed the bull gear retaining nuts weren't tight. I removed the cotter pin and they could still be turned to draw the axle in a little. So when reinstalling do i set it back to where it was or run the nut on in until the axle has been drawn in all the way in? Also, the inner rear axle bearing (Timken 33275) looks new, but the cup has enough wear that I feel should be replaced. I'm guessing someone didn't want to mess with the cup and just threw in a new bearing. Any tips on replacing that cup inside the housing with little room to work?

Looks like the replacement axle seals (AA 520R) don't have a spring like the original, just a rubber lip. I have to replace the one side for certain and was going to do the other while I've got it apart but thought I'd ask if anyone's had issues with aftermarket axle seals before removing an old but possibly better seal?
