Oil filter

If you had a choice between an original JD oil filter T19044, or a Baldwin filter. What would you pick? Stan

John Deere no longer makes filters they are put out on bids so the new Deere might be a Baldwin. A few years ago Luber Fine had the contract but not sure about now. I have used Baldwin filters with no complaints except the color. I hate the looks of the red so I often paint them black. Tom

At $6.25 from deere I wouldn't bother with baldwin.

an OEM filter is always the better filters, the there is the jobber filters to pick from. OEM filters have use a smaller micron .

I buy the John Deere filters because they are usually cheaper than Napa and the others . Baldwin is a pretty cheap filter if you have a dealer nearby but if you buy em off the internet it?s usually cheaper to get the oem filter. I?ve used a lot of Baldwin?s they?re a good filter
