JD 4024T Injector quesitons

I have a John Deere 320 skid steer with a 4024T engine in it. For the most part it runs well, but on start up, it runs a little rough. If I were to compare to my JD tractors, it acts like a dirty injector nozzle. I know this motor differs from my 55 and 40 series tractors fuel systems in that it has internal pumps for each cylinder. I also know that these pumps are matched to the nozzle and if the pumps are pulled from the engine, require an intensive clocking procedure. I do not believe that the pumps themselves are an issue, but wonder about dirty nozzles. My question is if I can pull the nozzle, clean it, and reinstall without disturbing the pump?
