New Toy, Ya I know wrong color

Here is my new toy. It is currently sitting at the local La Crosse WI JD Dealer. It came from Pennsylvania.

I will use a JD 4320 or 4250 to pull it. I am thinking of taking the gauge wheel off and just relying on the tractor depth and draft control to run it as I do with my 4200 JD Rollover Plow. Comments?

If I left the gauge wheel on, how do I set the tractor draft/depth control?

All the draft control does is lift the implement up a little bit to load the rear tires when you hit a hard spot or a even a soft spot where the plow tries to go 3 feet deep all at once it lifts the plow automatically instead of you having to work the 3 point lever . I plow with the gauge wheel on and on older tractors with the draft control lever I set it in the l/d setting it will lift the front of the tractor in extremely hard ground
