MT oil pressure

What is a good oil pressure for the MT? My rusty gauge has the needle showing straight up and down when running. I tested this mark with a carb pop off pressure pump and it would be around 30 psi for the oil pressure. I can pump up to 50 psi with the needle location to the right.

Forgot to add that I'm running 30wt oil.

I'd say you are good.
Anything 20 psi or above is tolerable.

Is this a cold or hot measurement?

The reason i was asking is that I'm starting to get some noise from what i believe is the wrist pins. I have a stethoscope that is used for isolating noise. Just making sure there is enough oil getting around. Could it be piston slap from the rings and how can i tell the difference? Compression check?

If that's when it warm and idling it's great, if its cold and running faster it doesn't mean much.
