Hi guys I?ve seen some gas 4020?s for sale at a pretty reasonable price compared to their diesel counterparts. Looks like they made less of the side consol gas models, does anyone know of any 4020 gassers for sale near ohio? Side consol a plus.

. A while back there was an article in Green Magazine where Port fuel injection was added to a 4020 gas.
The increase in power and efficiency was considerable .

Are you looking for one to do a diesel transplant ? or a puller ? or just to keep original to fill in a collection ?

Not really wanting one to convert, just to run an 8 foot hog and to feed hay with in winter

0 I have only ever had one which was a 68 with under 3000 hours that was a nice original but ran poorly and had the MS carb that people talk about.Probably sold about 5 4000 gas tractors I got from Ernie Goebel in trade but they also didn't run very well but sold easily and guys that liked their rareity of less than 300 made.I actually prefer muscle type tractors such as 4320s and 1206IH.

I'm in central Ohio. We have one of the few good running 4020 gas tractors left. A 1965 IIRC ? Have a 158 loader on it too. Barely use it anymore. I don't think Dad wants to sell it yet as every once in awhile you need a big tractor to do something. I have thought of buying it from him and selling my newer smaller diesel tractor as the 4020 has proven itself to be more reliable !
