What is the correct gas cap for 1950 John Deere B (sin >201000)?
JD Parts Cat. pg 61 indicates part # AD 709 R.
My B under restoration appears to be starving for fuel and I'm suspecting the nonvented replacement gas cap that I purchased may be a major part of the issue.
I discovered that the original I have (not useable) is vented.
Steiner Cat. pg 465 lists a side vented cap and a top vented cap?
Anxious to have the B operational for Sugar Camp wagon tours April 6/7 here in E Ontario.
