When you order parts and that can?t remember where the part goes ? I?ve got four o rings and a tiny spring that I have no idea what I bought to fit . I think of anywhere on a 4020 that a tiny spring with hooks fits and the o rings I don?t know either

I have been rebuilding a 1950 JD A. When I disassembled the tractor, parts were bagged and tagged and notes were made on order of disassembly. During reassembly I have lost two of the clips that hold the tank and hood on. I have an extra set of clutch springs. I am close to getting it done. I will then see how many spare parts I have purchased.

I have stockpiled so many filters and misc. parts for my small fleet that I often have to double check the part numbers to find what they were originally acquired for.
I seem to never buy one of anything when a half dozen is a cheaper buy.
Gas line turn off valves... spark plugs ..... fuel line .... v-belts. The shop is like a mini parts store.
