Looking or suggestions for muffler covers for my 1939 and 1950 B tractors during transport. I posted this question earlier but can't locate the post. I purchased a muffler cover from Sharps a number of years ago. It was excellent, fit well but they are no longer available. Looking for a cover which will not damage paint/coating on mufflers.

A pair of long cotton work socks: one for the muffler and the other for the air stack.

At 55 or 60 mph, I wouldn't think any water would get down the muffler. I never cover my mufflers during transport and have never had any trouble.

Wrap sock with duct tape.
Last post was suggested to use duct tape only. First wrap sticky side out.

You might consider "[i:654c4848f0]stuffing[/i:654c4848f0]" an old sock inside the top of the muffler.

Then cover the outside with another long sock.

The small diameter top pipe on the 50B should not catch much if any rain during transport.
