Steering wheel cap 1967 2510

Can anyone tell me what the correct steering wheel cap is for a 1967 2510? JD parts says the part number is AL155227 but in other parts catalogs I see this described as the part for 1968-2000 tractors. I think the question is, two-legged deer or four-legged deer?

The 2510 came new with a four legged deer on the cap. You might be able to get them on this site or go to Ebay. All 2510-3020-4020's used same cap. I have seen side console tractors that still had the 4 legged caps. Deere just used up all the old inventory. Tom

Combine junk yards are a good source of steering wheels and center caps. Most of them had cabs to protect them.

Do not buy the one from John Deere parts whatever you do I ordered a new steering wheel cap from them and it?s the new gay logo I was so mad when I got it I think i threw the dam thing in the garbage can either that or I gave it the frisbee treatment I don?t know I just know I was mad . The aftermarket companies have the correct logo available
