Looks tuff bilt to me.

Warrior - Just because it's painted Green, that does NOT make it a John Deere. Actually, it's an Allis Chalmers Model G with a homemade road
blade mounted to it. Model G's were made for small scale Truck-Farmers, and were quite the utilitarian little tractor.

Definitely not a G. I know of several G style cultivating tractors. Tuffbilt, Oggun, Hines, John Blue, Tilmor and another that escapes me. I'm unaware of any made by big green.
Of those only the G, Tuffbilt and Oggun had tubular frames. Neither of the latter were thought of in 1950.

My guess is the seller has a frankentractor based on a Tuffbilt but just looking for confirmation yea or nay.

Maybe something someone made by hybridizing, or maybe one of the many Allis "G-Like" tag-alongs. Definately not the afore mentioned Deere prototype XR-80, transverse-mounted, rear-engine little tractor with hydrostatic drive.

Tuff Built is the name of a tractor like that but they were painted blue. I think they were made in Al. As well as the Allis G. Several of those around here
in the south. Lots of Allis G want to be's out there.

I had a John Deere calandar that showed that critter. I think the caption was that it was a prototype only or maybe a short test production run. Definitely a JD, and definitely an Allis G clone. It
certainly could have been something JD had made by someone else to JD specs, but was definitely a JD "badges" product.
