Since the days have been getting warmer and the field have been getting muddy with a little snow. Anyone know how far the flywheel is supposed to onto the crank, looking at the wear mark going around the belt pulley, the belt pulley is farther out than it was before (but the belt pulley is as far as it wants to go on to the crank shaft), would this be causing the issues of the clutch not engaging the right way? We replaced the springs in the pulley and that hasn't fixed anything (one spring was bent a little, they were $6.00 each from Deere). If you have the nuts on the belt pulley too tight, the whole crank shaft moves back and fourth.
