Reworking the brakes on this fork lift. Very similar to a 1020 same parts. The reservoir check valve the springs were shot. So much crude in the reservoir. Parts are $265.09 for the valve pn AT184434. Looks to be times two. That is truly killing my budget. Looking at European built 1020 tractors they use a AL23836. This reservoir valve used on many tractors. After market they are $17.50. More my budget. They look identical. Screw in the same. Use the same o-ring, but the spring is a little stronger. Which i think is a good thing. Function the same so far. Has anyone out there used this combination? Just want to see how other handled this problem.
