JD announced starting in 2021 the StarFire iTC receiver will no longer work for Auto Trac. The reason is more satellites are being launched which require new communication types.I don't know the details and if they will be able to update software.The steering, auto shut offs ,swath control,mapping are all nice but hope all the money we have spent to unlock all these different modes can still be used.I just got a new 6155R and lost everything from fuel guage to MFD but the loader would still work and it would drive to dealer.After not being able to fiqure it out they sent in a request to JD and after 8 hours with computer hooked up it was reprogramed.No reason just deprogramed itself.I don't care if its automobiles,trucks,or tractors the reliance on electronics and computers is so complicated that even the computers cant keep up.I can see why the price of good 4440/4455 is appreciating.
