1520 All weather enclosure info needed

Last week I bought an all weather enclosure for my 1520. It had been installed once
by gentleman that I bought it from, many years ago. He didn't happen to have any
instructions for it. After studying it and my tractor, I think that I might be
missing something. I've searched for the part number AR64278 and can't find
anything on it. Does anyone have anything on one of these and/or some picture's on
how the sides attach to the bottom side of the canopy? Any help would be
appreciated.
Thanks Jim

That is an interesting piece. Sorry I can not help but I do remember seeing a few of those around many years ago. Post back some pics when you get it all mounted on the tractor. I also saw a few on 3020 and 4020's. Most would leave the front glass in year round and mount of the door and sides in the winter. Tom

I have not ever mounted on of those on a JD 1520. I have done so on the larger row crop JD 3020/4020s. I will agree that your missing some of the bottom brackets. They bolt on at the back of the motor block. IRC they go in/around the side plate bolt holes.

IF you have a GOOD JD parts person at your local dealership they can find a copy of the mounting instructions for the enclosure. Since Jd changed their parts system I can not find out near as much on JD parts.

I've never seen a style anything like that one. The only ones I've seen are the weather brake versions that are just canvas wrapped around the tractor.

I've only been able to find a few pictures (from a distance) online, I think that I have everything for the windshield, just not the door and side pannels. My local Deere dealer has been bought and sold many times, there's a good chance that they have purged the archives. When I have a chance I'll try the next closest dealer (acquired last year by the other mega dealer). It's looking like a summer project now but i will post pictures whenever I do get it all together.

Dad has one for his 2520 that mounts to the canopy with two special hangers and has the doors and glass front.

We put it on each year for winter then take it all off, pretty simple job on those. I think they detail them in the parts book, do you have one? If someone had a PC for your 1520 I think what your wondering would be there. I have the 2520/3020/4020 original PC's and those would use different parts, but the info has to be out there somewhere. Keep looking and goodluck.
