Was at Nyssa Tractor a couple days ago getting parts for my White 2-88 and thought I would take a few pictures of some Deere's basking in the warm Eastern Oregon sun.😎

For those of us that aren't [i:86711840e5]that quite in the know[/i:86711840e5]...
What is the "convertable front end" and what is the conversion?
I'll throw out a guess and say that the tie rods can either be on the front or back? Thus changing the wheel tread distance...

A convertible front end for a 4230/4430 is where the front axle can be removed and a tricycle front end installed,,It can not be done with a normal ordinary front end,, the one in the picture is on backwards to shorten up the steering radius,it will bolt up ether way .

I've never seen a 4230 in that configuration, is it a "utility". Looks pretty handy.

Man, they certainly [u:448c7f5dca]must [/u:448c7f5dca]be selling some of those as complete tractors, right? The 6030 looks like you could drive it home! I know (supposedly) some of the heavy parts are getting hard to source on aged iron like that, but really?

That desert Northwest climate sure keeps stuff looking nice outside.

There is one on You tube in an orchard 4230 low profile.

25 years ago I could have bought a 4230 low profile for $6500. That sure would have been a good investment considering the value they have today and I could have used it on the farm. Tom

I was excited when I saw your pictures as a 4230 low pro is very rare and also the 4020HFWA looked good. I called and those tractors were all part of the owners collection and nothing was for sale .The rows of parts tractor were salvage and all the tillage equiptment that looked newer was all for sale intact and they also have consignment type sales.I asked about a few parts that are hard to find here and they were much higher than we can get here.Did enjoy your pictures as they were interesting.
