Late Jd B identification tractor had no tag its square axle straight 6 six trans. Reduction cover has a drain and fill also two pc shifter tower any help narrowing down its year for a friend thanks. Any casting number I can get to get closer year pinned down thanks
 
1951 started using the 8 hole cast rear wheel centers as apposed to 4 hole. About mid year 1950 the choke rod came all the way back through a hole in the steering pedestal so driver could choke while sitting. Older ones were on dash panel. If it has "factory' water pump, it would be 1952. So...long choke rod makes it '50 > , 8 hole wheels make it '51 > and fact. pump makes it '52. How many does it have?
 
At serial number 243385 deere started using longer tubes to mount the head lights on. I'm not sure what year that was. The longer supports were the same as the A's used.
 
Has no waterpump has 4 round holes in wheels and 4 holes for wheel weights so in assuming they are 8 hole wheels there is a hole in the pedestal I think for the choke rod tractor didnt have a choke rod when purchased. I'm gonna say its probably around a 51 model?????
