I went and looked at a 1945 A this evening. Serial number says 1945. It is not running at the present time but ran two summers go the guy said. It is stored in a big warehouse. It cranked over just fine with the flywheel and even spit out the petcocks. I'm sure the gas is old but it acted like it wants to run. Didn't pursue it any further thinking I can get it cheaper with it not running. One problem I saw was the drum on right side moves in and out when the clutch handle is engaged and disengaged. I don't know if this is normal or not. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

The tin work is really straight

The guy seemed to be firm at $1000

What would be your best price?

Tires are old but still pretty good

That drum is the clutch pulley, all the clutch parts are inside of it, and it normal for it to move some, but mostly not over 1/2 inch total.
