Did your nephew find the cause of the vibration yet? Just curious.

No they did not get to it yet. I will post back when they do. That 46 was the one your grandfather owned. Tom

I was told they bought that new. They could have either gotten a 4640 or a 6030, but they wanted the wet clutch and quad range of the 46. Took it right to the field and put it on the chopper. After a few rounds Fred told Grandad "If that's all the power that thing has then take it back". So they turned the fuel up that day.

My only memories of it are this picture and of Dale hauling hog manure. Dale used the dualed up 46 and my then 12 year old brother was in the 8630. Grandad put him in the big tractor so the tank wouldnt push him around. Those 2 tractors hauled a lot of manure together. Of course the tanks weren't near the size they are now.
