Model A parts interchangeability.

I have a 1944 Model A, ser. #528447. Hand start, pan seat, high low trans, and John Deere stamped into the back axle housing. It has 15 spline axles and rotten rubber tires and rims. I also have an unstylish A carcass with 12 spline axles and tip toe steel wheels. It appears as though from the rear differential housing back they are the same. Will these two swap at the differentials or not? I basically have 60-80 pretty rough tractors at my disposal and am trying to make a few descent ones out of the lot. I have researched the John Deere parts catalog and the two rear ends appear to be the same. Thanks for any input.

Yes, an unstyled axle housing will work on an early styled main case. I have an unstyled rear housing on an early chassis like yours.
