went down, no power to the coil or starter button or the light switch. is this likely the ignition switch? ran a hot to the coil, jumping the starter to use the tractor. thanx. Steve

There's an multi-pin electrical connector just ahead of the steering pedestal cover, beneath the rear of the hood.

I'd start by having a look there for burned-off, dirty, or popped out of position "pins".

Also, there's a multi-pin connector between the switch panel harness and the main harness, hiding down low in the steering pedestal, ahead the the panel the key switch and light switch are mounted to.

Mine had an issue with the connector under the hood at the back of the engine. Connector got brittle and the locks broke. Zip tied it together and no more problems. Similar symptoms, of course lots of possibilities.
