4010 Steel Hydraulic lines

I have a John Deere 4010 that has two of the steel hydraulic line that runs in under the hood back to under the dash that has rubbed holes in each other. I want to remove them and braze back shut except they are vey long and without taking a bunch of things loose and off not sure how to get them off. Can I cut the lines and get fittings to connect back together. Has anyone done this before and if so where do you get the fittings and what are they called. I took one of the lines loose and cannot figure out how to it out. Thanks for your help

Just about any place that makes hydraulic hose assemblies will have ends to crimp on the hose that are "flareless hydraulic compression fittings".

They work well.

Question is if there's enough room in the problem area to make this possible.

First link shows the kind you need look like, second link shows how they work. (But doesn't show crimp-ob hose ends.)
