There is one in the JD archives that is shortened like that, painted red for fire protection. That is a nice find you have there!

A 2 week oil change interval holy cow but I guess a gallon of oil In those days probably 25 or 30 cents ?

Air cleaner every day too ! I guess if you ran it every day that 2 weeks would be a lot of hours on something with no oil filter in the system.
