Well, my YT friends came through again! I listened for a click when I turned the key on, there was one, although not real distinct. Really wasn't sure how it should sound. I located the fuel tank drain and attached a piece of tubing, then stuck the tube in a 1 lb coffee can. No flow when I first opened the petcock, so I used the compressor w/40lbs pressure to blow into the tank (cap loose) and on the third attempt it gurgled. Then I removed the line from the tank at the fuel pump end, good flow. Then I removed the fuel filter. That was a LOT dirtier than I care to admit....can't believe I neglected it this long. Replaced same but opened shut off valve to checked flow before reinstalling. Flow coming in was not at good as I thought it should be, not nearly as good as the flow on the first section. Then I googled the question. A fellow on there indicated that the fuel shut off solenoid on his machine allows a small accumulation of oil "behind" the plunger which keeps the plunger from retracting it's full length. It has to retract to allow fuel flow. So I removed that little feller and boy was that a challenge. "Engineers are the ones that put things where you can't get to them to fix them" was in full motion here. Wow. Removed the solenoid, held it upside down and pushed the plunger in with my thumb. Repeated this step until no more oil came out. Reinstalled, hit the key and it started instantly! Then, I had to bleed the air from the line and it sat and ran for @ 20 minutes. THANKS everyone for the help......more snow predicted this weekend.

The filter on my 6610 was very dirty too, it started missing going up a hill, thought it jelled, but dirty filter.
