Hydraulic fluid filler cap on 2040

Does anyone have a picture of the factory hydraulic filler cap that screws into the cast housing above the the 3 point hitch?

Would a regular steel plug used in plumbing work?

It's a vented plastic plug that seals with a gasket. Thread size isn't given on the DEERE parts site.

AL38083, about $30 at the dealer.

No because as Bob mentioned cap needs to have a covered open breather hole so as to let air into sump area & let moisture out when oil gets to operating temp/
