My son is reworking our 70 3020 diesel side console. I helped him block it up and get ready to tear down. Told him how to loosen axle wedges. All the horror stories of beating on axle, busted bolts etc. Left him to it. Said good luck. He sent me pic couple hours later. No problem he says. Must be beginners luck!!

Very Lucky indeed,,that sure makes the job go nicer,,I have spent all day on one side before,,I am getting ready to restore a 68 3020, and it has been setting out side for 12 years or so,,I am sure that mine will come off hard...

I did the ones last year on my 3020 soaked em
With penetrating oil every time I walked by for 4 months and they came right loose .

Well, if I could turn the tractor sideways they'd come off pretty easy. Try doing it rightside up!
