I have a 1946 JD styled A, last summer i changed the oil in engine and took out quite a bit of water, now in the winter time i always turn it over so the cyc. don't seize up, so it's possible that i broke the connector from the oil pump, but now it has no oil pressure. ? when i changed the oil it didn't have a oil filter, which i didn't think much about it at the time, i read somewhere that by installing an oil filter in an old tractor can cause no oil pressure ? is that possible? thanks in advance, Ron C.

you need to open the crankcase to see if the shaft is turning the pump. A filter should not affect oil pressure. If you need help on how to replace the coupler let us know. Ron MN

I would agree with Greenmech, only way to know for sure is remove the crankcase cover & check the coupler.
Chances are it is split & needs replaced.
