Repair belt shaft

I have a John Deere m 1950 and need advise on repair on belt pulley shaft. It leaks bad and shaft has a lot of play. It appairs the bearing and seal is shot. Where can l get parts? Thanks

Mother Deere. Bearings and seals can be
cross referenced at any industrial supply
or auto parts store.

You can download (for FREE) the parts catalog from the official DEERE sire (in .pdf format) at the link below.

The pulley parts breakdown is on .pdf Page 40.

The bearings and the seal are all still available from Deere, or, likely the numbers can be crossed to industry-standard numbers.

If the bearings are not damaged, just worn a little, it MAY be possible to remove a shim or two from the shim pack (Key #9) and snug things up.
