Had to borrow a ball joint press to push the pin through took a 2 foot ratchet to get enough force to push it out but it finally came

This might be a stupid question but bare with me. Keep in mind my welding experience is stick and mig all self taught. Your welds appear to be on the surface of the break. Is there any welding through the cross section of the break? Is that what your heating for? Are you brazing or something to create a weld all the way through the break. Otherwise I don't know how that could hold. Thanks. Paul

Iím not doing the work . He just has it tacked together so he can clamp it and then heíll vee it out and weld

Cliff I beat on it with the air hammer for 30 minutes and it didnít wiggle I couldnít believe how tight it was

Cement curbs and the 3 point pins spaced way to far apart was the main cause of what happened .
