No way would I trust a welded one as heavy as you use your tractors ! Should be plenty of used ones in scrap yards.

Pushing a ten foot wide box scraper category 3 width and hit something solid and that was that . I think it was caused by the arms being so far apart and even with the sway blocks in category 2 there was two much side play

I just bought a used one on eBay for 175$ 55$ shipping we are going to try and weld this one and see if it wil last until the used one gets here

If you use the welded wishbone, consider moving the Load & Depth control lever to the Depth setting. It will be difficult to keep the holes for the load shaft in position after welding without re-machining. The spring rate of the welded side might change too.

I?m not sure how it will work out just have to see I think we should see if we can put the load shaft through it while we weld it

You've got a replacement part ordered. Keep the tractor parked until you get the new one. What are you going to do if your welded yoke breaks again and raises hell with the main case or f's up parts in the load sensing system????????? Then you have a junk tractor. What's so important you can't park the tractor for a couple days?

We like to live dangerously. And I want to see if it
can be done . I traded my cousin for the smaller
scraper with catergory two pin spacing so there
won?t be so much force on the arms and support it
will be replaced before spring if it even holds at all
I?ve seen cast welded that didn?t last from the
welding table to the back of the truck and I?ve seen
it last forever
