My situation

First let me say I'm not a dealer, just a collector of green and yellow tractors. Because of numerous contacts over the years people know who I am and about my interests. As a result of the above I recently acquired a collection of NOS parts from a dealership that went out of business in the mid sixties. I have enough resources that I can identify most of what I've gained. But there are some items that I can't identify.

My question is, would it upset anyone on this forum if from time to time I posted a picture or a part or a number and asked for help identifying it? Eventually I plan to sell most of theses parts, does that make me a dealer?

I follow this forum daily and occasionally post, but want to keep everything above board(no pun intended).

It's none of our business what you do with it after it's identified.

Personally, I enjoy the "what is this" posts.

You need a Master Parts Index. I have several here. They are about 5 inches thick and tell what each part number fits. I like old parts to and have a bunch here. What area of the country are you in? I am always looking for 95-105 combine parts as well as hay and forage parts. Tom
