1939 John Deere B steering shaft bearings

I'm currently restoring a 1939 John Deere B and I purchased some aftermarket steering shaft bearings that were supposed to be for a "B". The problem I ran into is they do not fit the original races. Even the inside diameter was to big and didn't fit to the shaft like they should. The part numbers to the bearings matched up to what the supplier called for. My question is has anyone else ran into this problem? Did the Older B John Deeres use a different size bearing than the newer ones? Or do I need to visit my local John Deere dealer. My races looked great but the original bearings were missing a couple of rollers is why I'm trying to replace them in case anyone is wondering.
Any advice is Greatly appreciated and Thank you for any input!

My unstyled 1936 B used a different size then all my other later year Deere's. My cousin who worked for Timken could not even get them with the Timken number right off of it. JD still had a hold on that part number after all these years. Was able to still get it from JD. I do not know how long this bearing was used for ?

I was wrong when I said: entire B production run. Unstyled Bs used p/n JD7364R and all styled Bs used p/n
JD7396R.

When you use JD7396R in the JD parts website it comes up "No longer available". If you drop the R and just
use JD7396 it comes as a tapered roller bearing still available for about $23 each.

You might try a good bearing outfit to see if they can cross it to a cheaper bearing. There's really not
that much to it to make it worth $23.

Just Googled JD7396 and came up with numerous sources, mostly tractor parts sites. One of them has the
bearings available for $9.72. This YT parts section does not have them.
