I would think someone would be interested in that picker. Have not seen one sell at auction for a while. Last one I saw sell was mounted on a tractor, stored inside, and currently
being used.

Around here the 3pt plows would be worth
some money. I went to an auction a little
bit ago thinking I might get a smaller plow
for the garden. Can't remember right now
what they sold for but it was much more
than I was willing to spend. Seems like 2
and 3 bottom plows are in demand. Anything
much bigger and can't give them away.

That is an early 237 picker as the multi-luber is mounted down inside beside the operater and the stalk ejecter is the early type as well. I picked a lot of corn with a 237 and still have one all oiled up setting in the machine shed.I picked up a 50 sheller but have never used it. Tom

I know party that would be interested in your plow. 515-290-4336 It is funny that the bigger the plow the less they bring.Last year I purchased 5 mounted and semi mounted plows from a friends collection that had passed and the 2 & 3 bottom mounted plows sold quickly and I didn't realize that the ease of hauling to shows and parades made them in demand because in the real world they werent very desireable.I helped a lady sell her brothers farm equiptment as there was a 2260 hour 71 4020 original that I wanted and she had a 60 JD with 227 mounted picker that had sat in machine shed for at least 30/40 years that if hour meter was correct it had 641 actual hours and went to a local collector. In 1971 the farmer went to local JD dealer and purchased a complete line of equiptment from 4row planter to 4 bottom plow and then farmed about 7 more years as his health wasn't good. The tractors and planter and Massey combine were inside but everything else sat outside so the weren't worn but weathered.

I wish the 237 picker was a lot closer to me. It would be prohibitively expensive to get it moved here from SD.

I guess I should be like the guy in green magazine
and load up a semi load of that Kind of stuff and
haul back out here to the west coast I always see
stuff and it?s just to hard for people to go get it

There appears to be an IH forage harvester in the background. There were a couple guys on here looking for an IH forage harvester depending on the model unless not for
sale.

I forwarded that number to my brother that lives there. It is actually his to sell.

(quoted from post at 06:51:10 01/03/19) How much for the Lister?
Probably scrap price for the older stuff as it has not been used in years and my brother will probably send it off to the scrap yard if it doesn't go to a better home.
