1963 4010 hydraulic pump

The hydraulic pump on my 4010 has started leaking and it has the bypass port. Seems like all the fittings I can get to are tight. I have a spare pump, but it doesn't have the bypass port, as it was explained to me. Is there any way to have this spare pump drilled and tapped in the proper location so that when I pull my current pump out, I can just swap? Would a hydraulic shop do this/know how to do this? Really hate to be down my loader tractor during snow season, and I could just keep putting fluid in until spring to get by. Thanks

Had the local Deere dealer do mine 3-4 years ago. They had to dig up the tooling as they had not done it in many years.

I wouldn't try it..it would be "Poke and Hope",,there is not much room for error..Have your newer pump re-sealed. I can do it here and bench test it. $250 for the service plus parts,, I am in Central Ohio.

I have drilled several of them over the years. Never had any problem just go slow where the holes meet- you have to drill at 2 different angles to get where you need to go.
