I recently picked up an old 116w baler that was half way restored. I need two new clutch discs that go on the flywheel, and have exhausted all my resources trying to find some.Anybody have any suggestions as to where one could find some or have someone special make them. They are similar to the A, G, 60 clutch disc, but a bit different in size. Thanks for the help.

Call (866) 609-1260 and ask for DEERE BP11548 or NOS-JD35234 lining.

They show them for $16.14 each.

We custom baled for 20 years with our JD 116W..!!

My folks showed JD how to splice the wires so you didn't have to re-thread each time a coil ran out..ours had 4 coils..

I do still have some left-over parts here, if you have any interest, I can keep an eye on what I have and find..a couple guide rtollers, a lower pickup shoe, one useable coil of wire..(kept oiled..no rust)..other stuff, sold the "Baler Box" we kept on the AC.WD-45..had a load of shear pins and bolts...sorry they are gone..
Other smaller stuff in the drawer, I know..

That was a Fantastic baler and it took up so little room, when stored..!!
My Mother would go out iin the morning, bale 1,000 bales and come home, fix supper and that was probably a whole county away to the fields..
Bales were ALWAYS tighter AND heavier than any string bale in those days...!
52 strokes of the3 plunger/minute and Dad could often punch out 60+ lb bales every 5-6 plunger strokes..could even make that WD-45 Bark sometimes...
Our JD "B" tractors worked the governors about to death on that baler..especially noticeable since they burned valves if they had mufflers...they still have straight pipes..

Let me know where ya are and if interested..no charge, just need you to pick them up if ya want..
Send me some pics of it..!
