need info on a john deere #97 gas powered race car , probably built in the 1980"s I think it was built on a go cart chassis. Thanks

Never seen one do you have any pictures? I didn?t think John Deere got into nascar until the mid 90s

I saw one in Central Illinois, it could have been in early 1990, time flys. I have a pedal model of the #97, my Grand son has outgrown it and I would like to get him the motorized version.

I do not a picture of one, I am curious as how many might have built, who at their time of manufacture could have one, maybe they were for dealer promotion or for special order for the general public. Thanks to SVcummins for your comments.

Last driver I remember driving the 97 car was Chad Little for Deere, it was a 1996 Tbird.. I believe all of the 1997 model was the Taurus..

1997 was a Pontiac Grand Prix, 98-2000 was a Ford, can't remember when they switched from T-bird to Taurus. Found a picture of one online.
