Well sorta sad... Not sure what will come of this so far but we'll see. Posted my 320S and 530 for sale on the Facebook market place for pre-1961 JD tractors and equipment. Anyone have good luck doing this? Life is plenty busy right now and these are getting ignored. Since the boy needs college tuition money, I thought maybe someone else might like to play with these. I didn't get to the full set. Still missing a 330, but at the price of those, not many can... Still, I didn't do too bad. I had the full 20 series set for a while and sold the big four to buy my house. Now at 52 I have 5/7ths of the 30 series... Or did have... If the 530 sells. It was the first 30 series tractor I bought was back when. Gosh, early 1990's I think...

Cheer up, they're just tractors and there are others. I learned this from a dear friend now gone. Some of the guys in our tractor club would hang on, hang on to these tractors but my friend would get one fix up and then enjoy then sell or trade and move on to another one or model. He got me doing this and I've enjoyed life much more. Even sold my business and didn't look back. You'll see those ole tractors in that young man future. Have a good 2019....best Chuck

Facebook market place? Gee that must be why I missed that. I agree with machineryman1945 "they are just tractors". I enjoy mine everyday I can as I know they will be gone one
way or another someday. When I think about parting with my tractors I realize what I really enjoyed about acquiring them was the hunt. I choose to hang on to those memories.

Only connection to Facebook I have is when I look over my wife's shoulder when she says "hey, come look at this". LOL

(quoted from post at 07:53:30 12/31/18) I would list them on here in the classified adds also

Don't think facebook crowd is in the old tractor business. I really think Tractorhouse is a good marketing too but is pricey to use. I'm like the other poster....facebook is not my bag.

Thanks, that's probably a good idea.
I have 9 total, so I'll still have a few left...
Not many people want 730LP's so I'll keep the 2 I have. That gas doesn't go bad after a month...
And I'll keep the diesels, so far, unless I get desperate...

Well, ads placed here. I used the wrong picture for the 320 and can't figure out how to change it... Oh well. Maybe if I get a call on it they'll want more pics... It needs to be cleaned anyhow. Fall harvest blew in through the doors and covered it with corn dust...
