Regarding tractor registration on YDT

Okay guys, I've got a 1953 JD60. I'm trying to register my old girl on the Yesterday's Tractor's website. I totally understand the tractor serial number-that's easy and I've got it. What is the Engine and casting number and how do I find these? Thanks.

If you have an owners manual or service manual, that info should be in them. I don't think it is necessary to have those numbers to register.

Sounds like a generic form. Some tractors have a separate engine serial number, your DEERE 60 does not.

There's a casting number on the engine block, probably underneath, if you care to look, if that will help.

Okay thanks Bob. I was scratching my head wondering @ those. It's sounds like not a necessary requirement but I'll try to fill the blanks.

Hey Bob Harvey I've got all manuals for the 60. However it is not from the original owner and I've filled in the serial number, power trol number and the distributor number per the blanks on the owner's manual inside front page. When I saw this on the YT site it made me wonder. Any further info appreciated!
