I have a 1943 JD B that has a no hydraulics or power-trol/power-lift. How hard is it to install it and where to find the individual parts without buying parts tractor Only place I can find the parts online is salvage yard in California and I?m in central Iowa so that?s not option. Thanks

Should be as easy matter of just unbolting the rear cover and bolting the other style back on. Likely have to get one from a tractor built 1941 thru 1947. One from a pressed frame 1948 and later may also fit but will look goofy on an older tractor. Make sure you get all the parts of the pto shaft. I can't remember if the B's had an issue of the bevel gear shaft being an innie verses an outie ? I think the early A's did. But an adapter was easy to make.
I'd think someone in Iowa would have an old tractor junk yard ?

Find the back cover but don’t worry about the pto driveline PTO pump. Use the optional live hydraulic pump mounted on the distributor drive .

I am in central Mo, I have one off of a 41 model that I will swap for your flatback.
building a puller and would rather not have the lift.
