John Deere 430 hydraulic question

Sure, I had a factory set up on my 420. Was a trip bucket.

Like TX indicated it was not the fastest thing in the west. On the down stroke it would pick up the front end of the tractor.

I have a 430 U with #35 loader it was originally trip bucket but I converted it to hydraulic. It works good, as mentioned probably not the fastest thing around but my uncle used it for years cleaning chicken houses and lifting about everything he owned. I would agree though it would be better with a front pump driven off the front of the engine like is used on a lot of old Fords and Fergs with loaders. The one drawback to the 430 with loader is you have to keep up your gym membership if it doesn't have power steering. You learn to anticipate your moves. The front end is not that heavy. I replace the steering box and most front end parts when my uncle had it and have since redone tie rods several times.

10's of thousands of them have. Use a loader with double acting cylinders .

10's of 1000's is a large amount of that model tractors with a loader!
All those various models of 40,420,430,435,440 with the 9 or 10 gpm engine driven hydraulic pump.
I doubt very many loaders were installed on 320's and 330's.
