hi the new batteries didn't do the trick on my jd 350-b dozer think I need to pull the starter; how do I do this looks like I need to take fuel pump off ,oil dip stick out, maybe fuel filter and oil filter also. how many bolts are there I see 2 right now one at 12 o'clock and one at 6 o'clock if there one at 3 o'clock lord help me looks like I will not be able to use a socket and extension . any help would be great to get this done. I once saw a special jd starter wrench on ebay now thinking I should have bid higher on it. I live in ct if anyone around that I could hire ?

Not sure on that model but on many other JD's I have a box wrench bent into a U shape that works on that back bolt. Easy to make one.

It has been a while since I changed one of those but I believe it will come out without taking any of those things off. There should be one 3/8 capscrew in the lower position and one 3/8 stud/nut at the upper position on the nose housing holding it in. The u shaped wrench or maybe a u-joint socket may help with the top nut. Both should be 9/16".

The dipstick tube is all that needs to come off. A extension and a u-joint socket will get the bolt and nut off.
