Generator Identification w/o a tag

Is there any way to ID a generator with out a tag? I've checked all the housings for stamped numbers but found nothing. I got several on a pallet of parts I acquired. Thanks!

Typically, when a "rebuilder" gets ahold of a generator the SWELL metal OEM tag gets tossed in the trash and they replace it with a stick-on paper or foil "tag". You aren't(apparently) seeing even a paper or foil tag. Even if it had a rebuilder's tag, those outfits come and go, and it my be tuff to narrow it down, at all.

That being said, the frame/belly shape of Delco generators as used by Mother Deere over the years DID change, by comparing what you've got vs. some 'net photos you MAY be able to narrow it now to a decade, but DOUBT you can make a positive ID with the tag missing, just MHO.
