Trick question Jim. The bearings are
actually oversized for an undersized crank.
Course they are sold as undersized so it
could get confusing. Lol

Don't think Deere carries them that way
anymore. I do see nos one's on eBay from
time to time.

BTW, just playing.

No problem. I was thinking the same thing while I was typing but I've always heard them referred to as under sized. The brg material will be thicker but the inside diameter will be smaller:roll:

AND they said a "ZERO" didn't make much Difference..!!!

agkits has main bearings for the 115 engine with both the half and full groove up to .02 over, and it was the cheapest place that had them. I went ahead and ordered the half grooved ones that were on the tractor.

To "M-Man"...

You wrote "Trick question Jim. The bearings are actually oversized for an undersized crank."

HOW did you come up with that statement???

The inside diameter of the insert is smaller/UNDERSIZED, it's as simple as that.

Say the "shell" is THICKER, if you want, but there's no logical basic to call it "oversized", IMHO.

ESPECIALLY when anyone in the industry that supplies the bearings calls them "undersize".

How much cheaper ?

$150 for the set. This site wanted $200, but I just did a search on eBay and it looks like all states ag parts has lowered their price since I did my first search. They've got em for 120. Oh well...

As I told Jim just playing around. Does that mean a short bouncer isn't oversized when he weighs 300 lbs?
