49 A starting issue solved

Finally figured out my starting issue, last time I parked the tractor I must have not got it all the way in neutral, had the brakes set on basically trying to start it in gear. A George Mcfly moment for sure, live and learn, ouch

I always before I start mine make sure the clutch lever is all the way back and the gear shift in neutral. Ive seen some start in gear and take off while the person standing beside it start it up trying to run over them.

I saw an auction helper ground start a WD-45 with a big crowd of people standing all around it. Someone had put it in gear - it was in nice shape and started quick. Luckily, the crowd parted like Moses at the Red Sea and it didn't get on anyone. A local kid who grew up on AC's was close by and got it shut down pretty quick. That image flashes through my mind every time I see someone ground start a machine.

you must of had your brakes locked good and tight. Usually if one is left in gear for some reason they will instantly start ! BTDT !
