Coolant Drain

My H coolant hole treads are stripped. The plug will get almost snug then gets so loose you can turn it by hand. It is leaking a 4-5 inch puddle a day. I got to get this fixed.

I found some other threads on this that recommend putting a reducer in it with another plug inside of it. I'm not sure if I should use some sort of water resistant epoxy or JB weld? Should I try brass or metal?

Maybe there is a better way?

Use a brass reducer bushing.

Old threads need to be clean and DRY.

JB Weld works just fine.

Use some thread seal tape on the new (smaller) plug, and just snug it up, NO need to overtighten it, making removal when needed easy.
