Power Block 6-3

Is the 60 block bad that you want to put a power block in.IF you get a used one you should have it checked and see if the back o rings are leaking water and some do. It's up to you but for the little more power they give with good rings and pistons they some time can be a head ack

I have not torn the engine apart yet. Been looking for an excuse to redo the engine, bearings, seals, pistons etc. Now is the time to put the power block in.

Besides it needing to come apart, I really want the power when plowing in 4th gear when hitting the patches of hardpan the tractor won't have to work so hard. Honestly the sound another point in compression makes is what I'm after as well.

More compression is more power . For all you will use the tractor , adding 10-20% 100LL aviation fuel or using 91 octane should not bankrupt you .
LP manifolds too. They run cooler on a hard working tractor and they don’t have that nasty heat riser valve to crack .
