Nick Dengler had a new on about 30 years ago,,and it was new,, I looked it over back then,, the story was a couple young boys bought it and took it home,, it back fired and snorted and scared their Dads horses,,he was a crusty old timer,, so he told the boys to get that noisy contraption off the farm,,, so the boys parked in a shed on the back of the farm,, time passed and they went to War and didn't make it back,, the old man passed and it just sat there for years and years... Some how Dengler found it and bought it..it was an increadable find,, a bit of rust on the rims where it sat, but absolutely new condition.. It could be the same one,,maybe...

The GP was originally called the Model C in '27 and early '28. Deere changed the model designation from C to GP in '28 and the first Model GP was serial # 200211.

I think the first 10 tractors (201-210) were experimental test tractors.
