John Deere 4010 steering motor

I need to work on the steering motor of my 4010 john Deere. I know I have to take off the wide front end and one of the side supports. How do I block the tractor up while doing this if I have to remove of he side supports. Also, how hard is it to work on the steering motor. Any advice appreciated.

I place a stand under the front of the oil pan and a jack under
the RH side (that's the side rail I remove) of the front casting
just to support it.
The hardest part is removing and reinstalling the pinion assembly.
It't heavy and clumsy. I just removed the hardest to remove one I
ever dealt with. I guess it was rusted to the dowels.
