50 tractor cooling capacity

My Operator's Manual for this tractor says 4-3/4 gallons. I recently did an antifreeze change. The amount of old coolant drained was 3-3/4 gallons and it wasn't low before draining and never ran too warm. So I put 3-3/4 gallons of new 50/50 green back in.

I assume the Manual has the wrong value as the coolant is plainly seen in the top radiator tank after putting in the 3-3/4 gallons of new.

Anyone have experience with this? Thanks

Ron

Rust sediment takes up volumespace. Flush it out to clear sediment out. Remove drain bolt from head bottom and just let the hose run. Fill, drive till warm, drain & repeat.
